ELISE GELLWEILER

Elise is a 25 year old film portrait photographer and photojournalist based between Sydney and Brisbane, Australia.

Post graduating from a BA of Photography (major Photojournalism and Documentary Practice) from Queensland College of Art in 2017, Elise was a Gallery Finalist for the Lethbridge 10 000 competition at Lethbridge Gallery (Paddington, Qld) 2018, and was selected as part of Monster Creative’s December Showcase in 2020.

In addition to her images appearing in and on the covers of Queensland College of Art catalogues and journals, Elise’s graduate project ‘A Sting in the Tale’ was published in the June 2018 edition of New York based journal Sci Art Magazine.

In recent years she has collaborated with Australian labels Van Der Kooij, Gloria Dulcie and Jean Riley Jewellery where she also works as a content creator. Elise has had work published online with The Inspired Co and Lobster Magazine and in print with Style Magazine.
